An Introduction from Apollo III

Below is a letter sent to a few friends of Apollo III. This is an, "for your information letter", for you who are interested is where this all begin in our area.

498 Northland Avenue Buffalo, New York 14211 716-896-0738 Fax 716-896-0766 APOLLO III COMMUNICATIONS
September 21, 1996

Welcome to Apollo III Communications, Buffalo's first locally based Internet access point.

The developers at Apollo III saw a potential and predicted that everyone who has a telephone will soon have an email address. This hasn't happened quiet yet, however, this is rapidly becoming a reality.

Up until now, Apollo III hasn't spent a lot in advertisement. Our has come to know us by word of mouth. This fact, that we may not be as widely known, as the newer companies isn't a factor of any lacking in technical ability. These newer companies studied Apollo III in great detail before they came into the picture. There were some differences the other companies started out with. Most of these differences they chose where most likely picked to display individuality for the different companies. Most of the differences they chose (except for money in advertising, of course) were mistakes. They soon learned and switched to a closer emulation of a very innovative system that works.

Apollo III hasn't made mistakes with a need to change (with it's Internet setup). There is a major difference of Apollo III and some of the more well known providers. This major difference is their budget. Hopefully with your help for this historic landmark, this difference will diminish.

Apollo III is inviting everyone to join in on support of this historic eventful company, by choosing the first, and choosing the best. Using Apollo III's non-metered flat fee service, you have a grand avenue for educating your children, entertaining the family, and enhancing your business, just to name a few items. With Apollo III there is no need for clock watching. This provides for relief for someone doing research, or just generally browsing the vast resources of information available from all over the world. You really don't need the burden of having to constantly wonder how long you've been connected

Apollo III is a Community based, family oriented facility with something for everyone. We're looking forward to having support from the community while we together take this rewarding adventure.
